I LOVE TO HAVE HEADACHES

I would like to share a story of how a patient of mine has benefited from chiropractic care. For the purpose of this story, we will call her Joan. Joan’s story started about fifteen years ago when she would to get headaches a few times a year. Over several years, her headaches progressed from one every two months to one every two days. Due to the intensity of the pain from the headaches she had to receive morphine shots. For those of you familiar with this, you know that Joan suffered from the most severe of headaches.

She would get painful headaches that would create nausea and evening vomiting. The symptoms were so severe, that she would have to take medicine for the nausea. When she would have headaches, she said they felt like someone was stabbing her face and forehead. Even her sleep was affected. She could only sleep for a few hours before she was awoken by her headaches. She was consuming a bottle of Tylenol every week. There were few drugs that she tried that would take the pain away, these included Darvan, Codeine, and Morphine pills. Morphine and Tylenol seemed like the only two drugs that would help somewhat with the pain, but never helping the headaches to go away.She desperately needed something that would deal with the actual headache itself, not just something that would mask the pain.

Her medical doctor recommend that she try chiropractic care. She is currently under her second month of care. She says that the headaches frequency have decreased from one every other day to one every month. Also the intensity is no longer as severe. Her medical doctor is amazed at the progress of Joan.
